Hey y'all Quintara here with another exciting newsletter. A LOT has been going on the last few months, and it is only right that I share it with you all.
START OF THE SCHOOL YEAR
The 24-25 school year marked the start of my third school year with this district. This was not only an accomplishment for me personally (because absolutely love the people I work with), but professionally as well as I am the first BCBA to stay with this district for more than two years. I was also recently honored at a recent board meeting for all of my hard work and dedication during our recent Extended School Year (ESY) program. I am beyond grateful to jump right in with a superb team of RBTs.
NJABA
I have recently been appointed as the Events Co-Chair on the New Jersey Association for Behavior Analysis (NJABA) Board of Directors. We are currently planning for the 2025 Conference, which will be held on Aprtil 10-11, 2024 in Somerset, NJ. Details for the call for papers and registration are coming soon!
BATCAGE
From August 27-29 I attended and presented at the Big Behavior Analytic Technology Conference and Annual Gathering Event (BATCAGE). Not only did I have the opportunity to present on a topic that I am very passionate about (as it relates directly to my work as a content creator), but through my presentation I was able to encourage dissemination of ABA via social media.

Upcoming Events
On October 16th, I will be hosting an ABA Verzus and Black Women In Behavior Analysis Appreciation Day Panel titled Climate Change and Sustainability.
On November 13th, I will be hosting a virtual CEU event for ABS Kids.
I will also be working on academic publications and podcast appearances throughout the summer months. Stay tuned!
